OK so Si has been a part of the family since before the time of 20Twenty. A good friend and yeh a not bad rider. Last year Ian at 4Down asked me for a rider to rep 4Down and 20Twenty on a co sponsorship deal, Si was the obvious choice!
Simons continued devotion to BSD was respected (hell 2 tattoo's cant be removed easily!) so his list of sponsors continued to grow and by the end of 2007 thanks to the recognision from the 4Down deal Si added Nike 6.0 to his long list of supporters (4Down, Fit, A.Bike, 20Twenty, BSD....).
Simons gratitued for all 4Downs efforts in promoting him as a rider made the decision he was faced with at the beginning of this year a hard one to face up to, but you cant kill a childhood dream and Simons was always to ride for Standard. A brand we all rode when we came together and a brand that James Hitchcox has now brought home and distributing through Zeal.
Simon will now be throwin it down on a custom built Standard and reppin a whole lot more Zeal product as well as continuing to ride for BSD (laser tat removal is not cheap and their product is too good) Nike 6.0 and 20Twenty where he will walways be welcome.
I pass on the thanks from Simon to 4Down for their support and hopefully we can replace Si soon on the 4Down 'Shop Team' deal, not an easy task!
