"ROS is a dedicated directory of Rider Owned BMX Stores in the UK. We’ll be adding stores to the directory every week.


The idea is to unite rider owned stores together and help push BMX in the right direction.

Over recent years the BMX retail world has been littered with large mail order and chain cycle companies who have jumped into BMX to make money. Which is fair enough, that’s what business’s do. However this unfortunately effects independent rider owned stores directly, so much so many have closed and struggle daily to stay open.

ROS is not here to tell you where to spend your money, but we do want to raise awareness of how important a rider owned store is for your scene and BMX in general. The stores we feature on this site support their scene and have done for many years while also supporting riders, BMX only brands, suppliers and magazines. If we can help direct you to a store who gives back to BMX rather than the guys who do it for the love of money then you’ll always invest in BMX, you’ll make BMX grow and create opportunities for riders and the people who work tirelessly to make BMX look good, while all the cut price mailorder firms drive it backwards, make it look uncool and take us back to the early 90′s.

Good business people take what they can from a “fad” and then pull out when they have finished with it.

But to some BMX is a job, a lifestyle, a hobby, something that takes you around the world, keeping it in our hands is the most important thing right now".
